The Gospel of Christ is sometimes also called the Gospel of Peace. Therefore, to be planted in Christ, is to be cultivated in peace.
The prophet Isaiah wrote, “And He [Christ] will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Jesus is the Christ, which makes Him all of the above. In John 14:27, Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Peace is one of the most precious of all spiritual commodities in life, especially in troubling circumstances, in times of great fear, and in seasons of utter grief and sorrow. Guilt can also snuff out any tiny amount of peace that might remain. Many times in Scriptures, it is emphatically stated, “Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”
MGNI seeks to educate through the ministry of music, the peace of Christ in order to empower people to promote good and better life-changes. This will ensure the betterment of societies, and thus establish the Kingdom of Christ here on earth.
Philippians 4:6-7 gave a great exhortation, “Let us not be anxious about anything; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
It is known that music has always been a powerful vehicle that aided learning. MGNI commits itself to educating the world about God’s love and mercy, hoping and trusting for the cultivation of Christ’s peace globally.
